After graduating from Yale Law School in 1973, Mike practiced at the
Minneapolis Legal Aid Society and Mid-Minnesota Legal Assistance, where he became their first Director of Litigation and was recognized for his work for individuals with developmental disabilities. Since joining the firm, Mike has continued to work for people who have debilitating injuries, obtaining million dollar recoveries for clients. He has also successfully argued more than 20 cases in the Minnesota Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. Mike has been appointed by the Minnesota Supreme Court to two terms on the committee supervising no-fault arbitrations and on the Legal Services Advisory Committee. He has been an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law and, for more than 15 years, has served as the editor of the Minnesota State Bar Association's Minnesota Motor Vehicle Deskbook.
