Joe is a graduate of Slippery Rock State College (B.S., 1968) and William Mitchell College of Law (J.D., 1975).
and William Mitchell College of Law (J.D., 1975). While still in law school, he was the law clerk with the Workers’ Compensation Division. Joe’s practice focuses on workers’ compensation. He is a frequent lecturer at unions throughout the state of Minnesota on workers’ rights to receive workers’
compensation benefits and is also the author of the book A Minnesota Guide to Workers’ Compensation. He has been studying Tai Chi for eleven years now, and recently had an article published in the Hennepin Lawyer entitled “Nuggets on Negotiation” which focuses on negotiations from a Zen point of view.
